Making Order Out of Generosity: KW Capital City’s RED Day 2026
Published May 21, 2026
On Thursday, May 14th, the agents and leadership team of Keller Williams Capital City laced up their work shoes and spent the day doing what they do best – making things better for the people around them.
This year, our team partnered with Family Building Blocks, a Salem-based nonprofit dedicated to strengthening families and preventing child abuse. And they had plenty of meaningful work waiting for us.
A Day of Hands-On Impact at Family Building Blocks
Family Building Blocks relies on donations, community partnerships, and volunteers to serve families across the region, and after a big diaper drive, they needed some extra hands to help get everything organized and ready to go.
Our team rolled up their sleeves and got to work:
- Organized the pantry and used clothes closet, sorting and tidying so families can find what they need quickly and with ease
- Sorted diapers by size following a major diaper drive – a simple but incredibly important task for families relying on this resource
- Prepared gifts and items for their upcoming annual fundraiser, helping set the stage for an event that will fuel their work for months to come
- Washed windows throughout the facility, letting the light back in
- Tackled weed cleanup around the building’s exterior, improving the appearance and upkeep of the space
It was a full day of the kind of quiet, necessary work that keeps a nonprofit running smoothly, and our team brought their whole hearts to every task.
